The Traverser is a circuit that automatically operates a DC powered train back and forth along a section of track, stopping for a user-configurable duration at each end. See video to the right.

Operation of the Traverser requires the use of some form of block detection. Use of our Quad Occupancy Detector is highly recommended. We offer combination pricing for purchasing The Traverser and the QOD together, and they appear near the bottom of this page.

The Traverser needs a 12 VAC power supply capable of providing 1 amp or less. We will be adding a 12 VAC, 750 mA power supply to this page shortly.
