The Traverser is a circuit that automatically operates a DC powered train back and forth along a section of track, stopping for a user-configurable duration at each end. See video to the right. Operation of the Traverser requires the use of some form of block detection. Use of our Quad Occupancy Detector is highly recommended. We offer combination pricing for purchasing The Traverser and the QOD together, and they appear near the bottom of this page. The Traverser needs a 12 VAC power supply capable of providing 1 amp or less. We will be adding a 12 VAC, 750 mA power supply to this page shortly. |

Payment methods available:
Ordering multiple kits: When placing an order with more than two of the same kit, bulk packaging will be used. This means that instead of separately packaged kits, the required quantity of each component will be packaged together. One or two separate components needed for all kits will be in a plastic bag or IC tube with a label or labels applied to indicate the component. One hardcopy of the assembly and installation instructions will be included with the order. If you require individual kit packaging, you must email us in advance or at the time of ordering. |
